Operation Theatre Laminar Flow


Based on the experience , Microflow is contributing to the improvement of Hospital areas and reducing the risk of infection by designing and Commissioning the Laminar Airflow systems.

The Laminar airflow system with HEPA Filter creates an extremely homogeneous laminar flow with very little turbulence. Any bacteria, viruses or dust particles are extracted directly before the air enters the area. This means that the operating area is completely isolated within the surrounding room, effectively preventing any contamination by bacteria or virus-laden air. The low degree of turbulence also provides a pleasant working environment for medical personnel.

Every surgery requires different protection levels depending on the type of surgery. Protection of patient, materials and instruments needed for the surgery can be done with different types of laminar flow systems. Therefore Microflow has developed several types of flow systems which in basis have the same work-principle as described in chapter 4. The Telstar Laminar Flow systems are designed according the requirements and regulations, which can differ for each country.

Our range of OT Laminar Airflow unit are made of Stainless steel 304, Aluminium Powder Coated and CRCA Powder Coated are designed as per NABH Guidelines.

Material : Stainless steel 304 / PCGI
Skin Thickness : 0.8 mm
Infill : PUF

With flush double glazing glass, hardware like door closure, D handles, ball bearing butt hinges and provision for concealed automatic door bottom seal.

Pendants

Operation theatre pendants are used to provide all necessary services and equipment connection facilities needed in the operation theatre for Anesthesia and surgical purposed.

Single and Double arm multipurpose surgeon pendant with rotation of each arm up to 340 degrees and with a long vertical console length of 1350mm and following provisions are provided.

Multi pin electrical sockets (5X15 Amps) Medical gas outlet points.

The pendant consists of arm, Console, Monitor stands and shelves etc.

Optionally Shelves and drawers can be added in the unit

Surgeon control panel

Surgeon control panel has been designed to cope with technology and equipment in operating environment. it is designed to be user friendly and ease of operation and maintaining purpose. it comprises the following,

X- Ray Viewer

X- Ray Viewing screen designed to provide a high level of control luminance illuminated by LED lights with complete accessories. These are specially designed to provide X-ray film diagnosis which is supported by reduction of glare and uniform illumination. These are available in different sizes.

Surgical Scrub

Sensor or Manual operated scrub sink. It is an advanced compact fully stainless steel scrub sink which offers scrub stations. Scrub sink is fabricated from type 304, 1.2 mm stainless steel. The scrub is polished to a satin finish. The scrub sink is fitted out with sensor tap or Foot / Elbow operated tap The unit is designed to be installed on the wall using brackets.

Pass box

Pass box is one kind of facilities, which located on partition walls of clean room and its function shall be a buffer area for transferring goods between inside and outside of clean room. So that, it can prevent any disturbance of airflow and air pressure in clean room, which caused by the door opening for goods transferring. Furthermore, it can reduce the time for operators moving in and out, to prevent any dust coming from the out regions. Thats why there is one interlock guard system controlled the inlet and the outlet of PASS BOX not be opened at the same time, in order to prevent the cross contamination.
